After participating in an oil painting class for a month, I am going back to painting in watercolor, which is still my favourite medium to paint with. November would be my watercolour month, whether I am painting outdoors or painting from photos in the studio. If not I would be adding watercolour washes to my monochromatic sketches or drawings. Here’s one that I painted from looking at a photo I took of a cat when I was in Tai-O, Hong Kong.
