I am using a Epson Perfection Series V330 scanner for a couple of years now…. so far Epson scanners are pretty much durable… i have another that works for more than 10 years and is still working until the OS went out of date. I upgraded because of the scanning speed and the scanning software, which to me is quite important. I used the auto exposure a lot and I need it to be as accurate to my original as possible. I have also a Canon scanner that went dead in one year….
